Jaguar Range Rover is starting a unique trend linking its promotional campaign for the new Range Rover Evoque with the popular iPhone apps. Called ?Pulse of the City,? the application was recently launched to herald the new Evoque and should be downloadable from the iPhone App Store.
?Pulse of the City? will first run on the iOS4 for iPhones staring this November 1st while an Android version is expected to be out in the middle of the month. They can download the app from the Apple store for free and start building up comments about their favorite hotspots, landmarks and places in any of these 10 cities. Running the iOS 4 and given homologation by Apple, the application enjoys multitasking ability to run in the background while running other apps, browsing, texting to making calls on the iPhone 4.
